You Made Me Socks!

Ta-Da! Here they are, Jeff's finished birthday socks! Please disregard the dog toys in the background.

Jeff was genuinely surprised when he opened the gift bag, saying with a smile, "You made me socks!" Poor thing, he always sees me knitting things for everyone else, but never for him. He said he never noticed what I was working on...he just assumed it was my sweater. The sweater he is refering to is green (and just a bit larger than a sock). But I'm sure I'm not the only woman out there married to a man with less than stellar powers of observation....

He had them on for a few minutes and then got up to take the dog for a walk. He started to take them off, saying he didn't want to ruin them! How adorable. I told him he must wear them and I'll make him more anytime. Hand made socks are for every day, not just for special occasions!
