Just home from a very nice Easter dinner with Jeff's family. It is always so good to see family, and enjoy an afternoon of good food and good conversation. Before I settle in for an evening of knitting and mindless reality t.v., I wanted to share first attempt at stitch markers using some beads I'd forgotten were hidden away in the basement. The picture is a bit fuzzy, I apologize.
The top beads are a pearly red/blue, the middle is a green/blue glass seed bead, and the bottom is a transparent blue. The photo shows the markers on a size 8 needle. They should fit fine up to a size 10. My wire bending technique needs a little work, but I'm pleased with my initial results. Next step is to actually put these to use, maybe on the Clapotis that is currently on the needles.
