For the first time ever, I took time off between Christmas and the New Year. With the holidays falling as they did on Thursdays, that meant almost two weeks off. In other words, a long break from my usual routine.
I didn't travel or do anything that most folks would consider super-exciting. Others might be bored just hanging around home for two weeks, but for me, this was the best vacation I've had in a very long time. It was a perfect stretch of relaxing, day dreaming, knitting, blog reading, organizing, and preparing for the new year.

The stitches are beautiful..very intricate. I don't know much about knitting, but i can see you are very talented
